Notes
Following Godfrey-Smith's model-based treatment of Darwinian populations, we frame the apparatus of dalla2026between as an idealised map from ecological structure to selective pressure, with no claim to be a complete biological reconstruction.
Alongside Lewontin, Godfrey-Smith's treatment of Darwinian populations supplies the modern formulation we adopt in riva2026task when checking that model lineages satisfy heredity, variation, and differential reproduction over a fixed deployment horizon.
