Notes

When I was younger, say between middle- and high-school, I was always in awe with the cosmos. Questions about where "all this" came from, where it was going, and what kept everything together were exciting for me. I read up a lot of science books about cosmology at that time, understanding maybe half of what it was written. Until I enrolled at Uni, started studying Maths (this is 2004). At that point, for some reason, the interest faded, and I've not been keeping up at all. Slowly, I think I lost fascination for the universe! What a bizarre thing: while I was acquiring the tools-of-the-trade to actually understand the details, the big picture got less interesting. Now, 'though, I'm curious to see what's new, and this seems to be the right book for that.
